Megaventory does not have a logic behind generating a coding scheme other than incrementing the last number by one (in case the last digit of a similar/previous SKU is indeed a number).

So, for example, if you already have a SKU of AS001XC01 then, when you add a new product and you start typing AS.. you will get a suggestion to create the SKU AS001XC02.
