Within Megaventory, you have precise control over weight management based either on the information provided per each document row or based on the default product weight.

Here's how this works.

Start by navigating to the main menu and selecting the 'Document Templates' section.

Next, click on 'View Document Templates' and select the specific sales-related template. Then, activate the 'Weight Option.'

With this enabled, you'll gain another column in your outgoing documents where you'll be able to add, view, and edit weights as needed in outgoing documents.

There are two options:

a. You can know the weight when shipping products out by having filled in the weight field of the product ahead of time:

This pre-filled information will be used to calculate the total order weight given the preset product weights. This is shown in the line indicated as 'Weight based on default product weight'.

b. You can add weight information manually either in the document rows or in the document header.

You can either fill in information per product line or a single order weight figure at the respective tab.

This will populate the value for the line indicated as 'Weight based on default product weight'.
