How to update information related to a batch number?

Navigate to Products and Services → View Products and Services.

This will show you all the batch numbers associated with this product. To edit the information for a certain batch, just click on Edit next to the batch number. Now make the changes, and hit Update.

You can also add a new batch number for the product in this view if you need to. Just click on New and fill in the information.

How to archive a batch number?

  1. Go to the Batch Numbers: Navigate to Products and Services → View Batch Numbers

  2. Select the Batch Number: Find the batch number associated with the product you want to update.

  3. Archive the Batch Number: Select the batch number and click Archive to remove it from active use.

How to remove a Batch Number (BN) from a product?

Step 1: Zero Out the Stock

  • Set the product’s stock quantity to zero.

  • Ensure that all Batch Numbers (BNs) associated with the product are also zeroed out.

Step 2: Archive the Batch Number

  • Open the Batch Numbers List:

  • Search for the BN that was zeroed in Step 1.

  • Select the BN and click Archive to remove it from active use.

Step 3: Disable Batch Number Tracking

  • Return to the product screen.

  • Disable the option “Product uses BNs” (if applicable).

  • Click Update to save changes.

Step 4: Restore the Stock Level

  • If necessary, set the stock quantity back to the correct amount.

Notes

  • You must repeat this process for each SKU separately, as BNs are tied to individual SKUs.

  • Archiving a BN only removes it from that specific SKU, not from the entire system.
