Megaventory integrates with WooCommerce Composite Products Extension, facilitating the automatic creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) and Production Orders. This enhancement ensures composite products crafted in WooCommerce effortlessly transform into finished goods in Megaventory when Woo orders are generated.

This feature is ideal for businesses that sell user-defined bundles or kits made up of multiple components where the component mix is different every time.

Here’s how it works:

1. Composite Product Creation: Within WooCommerce, you can create composite products by combining various individual items. Your customers can then select the exact version of your product they need before the checkout so they add it to their cart.

2. Bill of Materials Generation: Once a composite product is crafted in WooCommerce that way, the integration ensures that the necessary information is automatically synced with Megaventory. This includes essentially creating the detailed BOM data of the Woo order, specifying all the components required to assemble the finished good.

3. Automated Production Orders: When an order for a composite product is generated in WooCommerce, Megaventory automatically creates the corresponding Production Order using the BOM from the previous step. That way all that is left is for the user to process the Production Order to generate the finished good.

4. Sales Order Creation: Of course, as usual, the Sales Order that corresponds to the Woo order will also be created in Megaventory. Once the production order has been completed, the Sales Order will also be able to be fulfilled.
