What the Report Includes
The Inventory Balance Report presents detailed stock information across multiple locations, including:
SKU Code – The unique identifier for each product.
Product Name – A description of the product.
Inventory Location – The specific warehouse or physical location for which the report runs for.
Quantity Columns – Quantity columns display quantity information grouped by the process that generated the quantity figure displayed (e.g. Quantity Purchased, Quantity Sold). Starting Quantity and Ending Quantity are also included.
Value Columns – Value columns display value information grouped by the process that generated the value figure displayed (e.g. Value Purchased, Value Sold). Starting Value and Ending Value are also included.
The Inventory Balance report summarizes inventory levels and values at a specific time, detailing quantities by category or location. It tracks stock movements, highlights shortages or excesses, and aligns inventory with financial records. This report aids in inventory management, demand forecasting, cost control, and operational efficiency.

Prerequisites for Access
Before using the Inventory Balance Report, ensure that both Admin and non-admin users that need access to this report have the required User Permissions.
How to Access the Report
Log in to your Megaventory account.
Verify that your account’s permissions are correctly set up.
Navigate to the Reports section.
Click on the Inventory Balance Report.
