There are no Shopify webhooks for Discounts.
The creation of a Shopify Order will result in creating an equivalent Megaventory Sales Order. The Products in each Megaventory Sales Order row will have one or no Discounts applied. Essentially, in every Megaventory Sales Order row the Product price is calculated and shown separately from the applicable Discount which is calculated and also shown as a separate Discount.
Product Discounts
Shopify Discounts are gift cards (coupons).
If a Discount based on a percentage is applied to a Product in Shopify, a Discount with the same name is created and applied to the Megaventory Product. It is shown in the relevant column of the product row, separately from the price, when the Product is used in a Sales Order. This Megaventory Discount will be reused in future applications of the same Discount in Shopify.
If a fixed amount Discount is applied to a Product in Shopify, then the Discounted price is applied on the Product in Megaventory and the Discount title is entered on the Megaventory Sales Order tags field.
Order Discounts
If a discount based on a percentage is applied to an Order in Shopify, a Discount with the same name is created and applied to the Megaventory Sales Order. Discounts and Taxes
In case both a Discount and a Tax are included in an Order, then the Discount is applied first and after that the Tax is applied on the Discounted Price. Both values are shown in separate fields before the Total Value in the Megaventory Sales Order created.
