Under certain business scenarios this is more than suggested and megaventory is specifically designed to support such scenarios. You may create users and restrict their access accordingly, by selecting the permissions for each one.

Each user for example may be assigned a work load according to his role in the business. An accountant may have access only in viewing inventory transactions and invoices and reports and a warehouse manager may have read/write access to all inventory locations and inventory location reports.
