How Does It Work?
Reach Out to Us via Email: Start by emailing us with your request. This initiates the process and helps us understand your basic requirements.
Share Your Report Specifications: Let us know what you’d like the report to include. You can provide a specific spreadsheet template or simply describe the rows and columns you need. This step is crucial for us to capture all the necessary details.
Clarification Phase: Typically, we will then schedule a call to discuss your requirements in detail. This ensures that we fully understand your needs and that we can deliver a report that meets your expectations.
Quotation: After understanding your requirements, we will provide you with a quote that includes the cost and estimated time for delivery.
Development and Delivery: Upon your acceptance of the quote, we will start developing the report. The report will be delivered as planned, within the agreed timeframe.
Access Your Report: Once the report is ready, you will be able to access it in the Custom Reports section of your account.
Further Customization: If needed, you can request additional customizations to the fields in your report to ensure it perfectly suit your needs.

Our custom reports functionality comes with a range of key features designed to provide flexibility and security:
Custom Configuration: Clients can request virtually any combination of data from their account database. Simply let us know what you need to achieve, and we will configure the report accordingly.
User-Specific Viewing: Custom reports can be configured to be viewed only by selected users. This ensures that the right people have access to the right information, maintaining data security and relevance.
Flexible Presentation: Users can apply top-level filters and adjust input values in their reports. They can also sort and filter further the resulting table. This feature makes it easier to organize and understand the data at a glance, enhancing usability and efficiency.
Output: As usual users can export their resulting report in the XLS, CSV, and PDF formats. Also, if the report includes products, these products can be pinned to the clipboard for further processing inside Megaventory.
Example
Clients have requested multiple custom reports with very varying contents.
For example, this report offers a comprehensive product overview. It combines quantities purchased and sold, something that is not found in this manner in the standard Megaventory reports. It also combines along with the initial and final stock per SKU.
Custom Report Permissions:
To enable or adjust permissions for Custom Reports, go to Settings → View Users & Permissions → Edit User Permissions. Scroll down to the Reports section and check the Custom Reports option. Activating this feature lets you control access to specific reports within the grid menu based on user permissions. You can also define the locations and document templates that will appear in these custom reports, allowing for enhanced visibility and access management across your team.
