The mobile app Dashboard Screen

Written by Spiridoula Karkani

The Megaventory Mobile App Dashboard offers a clear and user-friendly starting point to manage and access your daily workflows, right from your mobile device.

The Dashboard is split into two main sections:

  • List Views

  • Tasks

You can toggle between these sections easily from the top of the screen.

Dashboard - List Views

The List Views section displays essential summaries from across Megaventory's various modules, grouped at a higher level for easy access.

πŸ“Œ Note: List Views on the mobile app are similar to those in the Megaventory web app but are designed to allow users to pin views from multiple modules (Sales Orders, Sales Documents, Internal Transfers, etc.) to the Dashboard for quicker navigation.

Pinned List Views can include (examples):

  • B2B Sales Orders
Access sales orders related to business clients easily.

  • Approved Sales Orders
See a list of your approved Sales Orders and tap to Ship any such Sales Order in the mobile app using the embedded barcode scanning functionality.

  • Last 30 Days Invoices
Quickly reference invoices issued in the past month for monitoring payments and collections.

  • Goods In-Transit Between Inventory Locations
Monitor goods currently being transferred between different inventory sites. Tap to open an such an internal transfer and receive goods against it.

This flexible system lets users customize the Dashboard based on their role and daily priorities, ensuring the most critical information is immediately available.

Dashboard - Tasks

The Tasks section displays a list of pinned predefined processes that you can initiate with just a tap.

πŸ“Œ Note: Each task can be carefully configured to streamline a specific activity. Once started, the app guides the user through simple steps, typically just involving scanning items to complete the process.

Examples of tasks include:

  • Transfer from Warehouse to Store
Initiates a process to move goods from the main warehouse to a secondary warehouse or retail location. The user simply scans the items to confirm the transfer.

  • Retail Sale at Store
Launches a point-of-sale flow at a retail store. The user just scans the products and completes the sale for the customer.

Each task is designed to reduce manual entry, minimize errors, and speed up operations, whether you're transferring stock internally or making a sale.

Mobile App Navigation

At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find the main navigation bar with quick access to:

  • Tasks: Perform operational activities.

  • Search: Find product information, stock across locations and product price info.

  • Sales: Manage sales orders, Shipments and Sales Invoices.
