Create and Manage Sales Quotes

With the Megaventory mobile app, you can now create and manage Sales Quotes directly from your device.

This guide walks you through the process, from creating a new quote to closing it when a client accepts or declines.


πŸ“² Step 1: Start a New Sales Quote

  1. From the Dashboard, tap on Sales.

  2. Select New Sales Quote.


πŸ“² Step 2: Fill in Document Details

  1. Set the Status (e.g., Pending/Draft or Approved).

  2. Select Template β†’ Sales Quote.

  3. Choose the Client who will receive the quote.

πŸ“² Step 3: Add Products

  1. Tap Add Product.

  2. Search for or scan the barcode of the product.

  3. Enter the Quantity and verify the Price populated from a pricing rule.

  4. The system will automatically calculate the Total Quantity and Total Value.


πŸ“² Step 4: Approve the Sales Quote

  1. Once all details are correct, tap Approve.

  2. Confirm your action in the pop-up message.


πŸ“² Step 5: Close a Sales Quote

When the client makes an affirmative decision, you can close the Sales Quote:

  • βœ… If the client accepts β†’ Closing the quote automatically creates a Sales Order with the same client and product details.

    • Select the Sales Quote β†’ Close

    • Choose the Inventory Location β†’ Confirm

    • The Quote closes successfully, and a Sales Order is automatically created

If the client wishes to not proceed further:

  • ❌ If the client does not accept β†’ The quote is cancelled and stored in the system for future reference.
